We use parks in the City of Westminster. We will be at Oakhurst Park 1 for the 2015 camp season. Our maximum occupancy is 100. These numbers can be adjusted as needed, but at this time we are looking to register 60-65 campers/Tagalongs going into KG - 6th grade for the fall of 2015. The 6th grade girls have the opportunity to earn their LIA (Leadership in Action). 10 PA interns (girls who have earned LIA and completed PA training. We need you to bring your intern tracking sheet). 12 PA's (girls going into 8th grade to just graduated from HS). 14 additional adult volunteers.
Camp will be from 9:00am - 3:30pm. Volunteers, Program Aides and Program Aide Interns need to arrive at 7:45am to help set up camp. Campers may start signing in at 8:30am. We would like to have campers signed in by 9am. They will check in with their group leaders. At 8:45am they will join the Program Aides in a song circle. Campers need to be picked up by 3:45pm.
You will be expected to show ID so that your daughters group leaders can verify that you are on the list. If someone is going to be picking up your daughter and they are not on your list, you will need to let the adult group leaders know. The adult picking up your daughter will need to show ID as well.
Campers may only play on the playground with a supervising parent. Day camp volunteer staff is not responsible for them on the playground. The playground equipment is off limits during day camp hours.
Campers will need to take any meds at home. We may not administer at day camp. If your camper has an inhaler or epi pen, they will need to let us know that they have it, but will need to keep it in their backpack.
Visitors are welcome, but limited due to the fact we are only allowed a certain number of people at camp for insurance provided with our park reservation. You MUST check in with the day camp director though, Poppy.
